Featuring both the original Luc Leger's protocol (1984) and the popular "at-least-60-seconds" alternative, this app is a comprehensive fitness tool.
To get started, all you need is a pair of running shoes, a flat 20 meter running pitch, a modicum of enthusiasm, and this app.
It's important to note that this app is not GPS-enabled; instead, it serves as a timer app specifically designed for conducting the beep test.
Simple, non-intrusive, and highly accurate, this app offers several useful features:
<ul>
 <li>Prompting you with beeps or ringtones of your choice</li>
 <li>Displaying seconds to the next beep and next level</li>
 <li>Showing your distance covered so far (including shuttles) and time elapsed</li>
 <li>Allowing for a 15m or 20m lap</li>
 <li>Offering an autostop feature</li>
</ul>
Once you're done, the app provides estimates for your VO2_Max and calorie consumption. These metrics can be used to:

 <li>Gauge your progress and compare your fitness level to that of the general population</li>
